Importance of a Balanced pH
According to Dr. Robert Young, Microbiologist and New York Times Best Seller, "The pH level (the acid-alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. Extended acid imbalances of any kind are not well tolerated by the body. Indeed, the entire metabolic process depends on a balanced internal alkaline environment. A chronically over-acidic pH corrodes body tissue, slowly eating into the 60,000 miles of veins and arteries like acid eating into marble. If left unchecked, it will interrupt all cellular activities and functions, from the beating of your heart to the neural firing of your brain. In summary, over-acidification interferes with life itself leading to all sickness and disease!"
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR pH
Test your urine and saliva pH first thing in the morning, you can collect your urine in a cup if easier. The saliva is tested by collecting a pool of saliva on the tongue and quickly wetting the short strip. Be sure to match the color of the strip to the color chart immediately. Both urine and saliva should be at a reading of 7.2 or above to be at the optimal pH level. Test the second urine of the day (before eating). This urine test may be more alkaline because the body is dumping more acids in the first urination of the day.
Contact Well Naturally Holistic Health for the required pH testing paper. Then record your numbers and schedule a consultation to discuss a plan to move your pH levels into a healthy alkaline state.
